I'm on my way to creating a potager (my new favorite word). I've ordered my raised beds (Vermont white cedar) from The Farmstead and my seeds are sprouting. Next: I'll need to find a way to get enough compost to fill up my beds (times like this I wish I had a truck).

Hey - that's Villandry - the inspiration for my potager! I look forward to seeing what you do with yours. We visited Villandry a few years ago and loved it. I came back and turned my raised-bed garden into a mini formal potager with miniature boxwood hedges, pea-gravel paths, a centered rose standard, trellis for vining vegetables and an apple espalier "fence" around the whole thing. And it's only 10'x12'!
