To the questions above- yes. Facts of Life was a spin-off of Diff'Rent Strokes.
Kimberly went to Eastman, and Arnold and Willis went to visit a few times, as did Tootie did on their show. If you remember- Arnold had a HUGE cruch on Tootie (with braces.)
Mrs. Garrett from Facts of Life used to work as the Drummonds' housekeeper (pre-Adelaide). She left to work as the dietician at Eastland. Kimberly did show up at Eastland, but I don't think she was ever a full-time boarder. This was back when Facts had about a million girls running around, including Molly Ringwald, and it was impossible to keep track of them all. I did like the original opening credits with the triple split-screens, though.

never thought it before, but that song is kinda depressing...
i watched TONS of that show. didn't arnold and willis from diff'rent strokes guest star on it occasionally?
depressing, I agree. were these girls orphans or what? I never understood. it makes sense that willis and arnold would visit.
Oh yeah, Blair was hot.
