Wandering Eye

It's hard not to continue checking local real estate listings and stopping in at open houses. There are quite a few places up for sale in our neighborhood. Many have stayed on the market for over a month. Some have had their prices reduced. I scratch my head and wonder if the market is slowing or crashing or whether it is just pausing before taking off once again. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the market is going to keep going up. At least in LA. In any case, we don't live in tract housing so we can't compare other houses in our neighborhood directly with ours. Each house is different. Every lot a different size.

Not our house

Hey, now THAT'S a cool and unusual house. Do you have any information on it? Just curious.

The housing market is cooling somewhat here. When I see what the neighbors are asking for houses similar to ours I think what a ripoff, I wouldn't pay that much for such a house. It was barely worth what we paid for ours 4 years ago!

It's somewhere in Beverly Hills. Flintstone's meets cruise ship, wouldn't you say? There are all sorts of crazy and beautiful houses in LA. One of these days I'm going to bring my camera and take pictures of houses around town and post them.

I've always wanted to take pictures of ugly houses and post them. But then again, I'm afraid of getting beat up.
