Who Needs to Go?

I thought last night's episode of Lost totally sucked. I don't care about Hurley anymore. Other than the numbers, he really doesn't matter. He's not funny. I'm not interested in his food obsession, guilt complex or prior institutionalization. I don't care for Libby either (her face is weird). Anyways. WEAK!

I read somewhere that somebody "significant" is going to die before the season is over. Let's take a survey of who you think it will be. Sorry for being so bleak. I'm in a punchy mood.

The likely candidates are the original group of survivors plus Ana Lucia. That means: Jack, Kate, Locke, Sayid, Sawyer, Charlie, Claire, Hurley, Jin, Sun and Ana Lucia. Am I missing anyone? The only people I can see them killing off is Kate, Charlie or Ana Lucia. The other characters have a significant role to play on the island.

I think Ana Lucia will have to go. The producers probably signed her up for one season. Viewer reaction has been violently negative, they would be smart to let her go.

I'm not a true LOSTer but after last nights episode, I might as well be on the island eating peanut butter from a leaf. So should the show be called LOST in Hugo's mind? I thought for a second Hugo was going for a swim. The magic of teases + editing huh? I guess I need some filling in and the first season under my belt.

I thought Hugo was going to take a swim too-- either on purpose or because he slipped on a rock. I would highly recommend watching the first season on DVD. It is top notch.

This last episode has me more obsessed with Lost than I've been since mid-way through last season. I actually registered and posted on one of the many Lost message boards. Also, check out this great Lost wiki:

Yeah--I have to agree w/ the other posters. I have really gotten back into it after the last two episodes. In my humble opinion, they've been basically as good as the first season.

Why do you guys think it's so great? Do you really like Hurley?

i didn't like that last episode either...but the week before was pretty exciting in the hatch! more hatch, less flashbacks! hurley's story was predictable and annoying.
